Getting Started
Void Tales runs on Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1. There is no whitelist and no application process - install the pack and join.
Step 1: Install the modpack
Get the Void Tales modpack from Modrinth (Fabric,
1.21.1). If you use the Modrinth App, Prism Launcher, or ATLauncher, you can import the
.mrpack file directly and the launcher builds the instance for you.
Step 2: Add the server
In the Multiplayer menu, add a server with the address play.voidtales.win.
Step 3: Accept the resource pack
When you join, the server offers a resource pack. Accept it. It is not optional - without it you are missing custom items, the HUD, and models the pack ships alongside the mods.
First steps in-game
Open /guide to bring up the Journal, which tracks your active quests. Follow the tutorial it
starts you on. If you ever get physically stuck in a block or the terrain, /stuck gets you
out.
From here, Commands & Features, Server Rules, and the FAQ cover the rest of what a new player needs.
Looking ahead
The modpack is currently the recommended way to play - it carries both the visual pack and the performance mods. Making more of Void Tales work on a plain client is something we would like, but for now the pack is what gives you the full experience.
