Souls combined in another world!

Here comes another typical inauthentic and perhaps overly long announcement.

Void Tales is brilliant. It sounds strange coming from me, but that’s OK.

I had to wait a long time today for a response from the developers of Betonquest because I have to migrate the system from 2.0 to 3.0. No, I actually want to do it, because the seemingly endless possibilities I have to develop a real game, which you already got a taste of in the tutorial, will only get better once I’ve done that.

But that’s not what today is about. I accompanied @snowflakekiwi and @NotSkittleGA today as they experienced and explored a large part of Void Tales, and I had a lot of fun doing so.

The soul of this game is real, and it works. The soul that lets you feel what this world is all about. I don’t want to make any empty promises today, but rather talk about how the foundation isn’t as rotten as I sometimes believe when I work alone on the server for hours at night, year after year. My soul, and the souls of all those who were there before these two gamers and roamed the world of Void Tales, live on in it.

Where is this announcement going, you ask? Nowhere. After the migration, I will continue to do my very best and create something incredible, you’ll see.

Thank you to everyone who believes. I love you, and I mean that.

After a heartbreaking farewell (for me) at Soul Station, I head to bed and into another exhausting week of work, but my spirit remains there.

Oh, and by the way. Click the bomb emoji if you’ve ever exploded from the Suspicious Letter. Make @NoBody happy.
